Job summary

SURIA DAN SONNE SDN BHD – Sepang, Selangor is seeking a Safety & Health Officer to inspect and rectify unsafe acts and conditions at civil works sites, conduct toolbox talks, and prepare site diaries and weekly reports. The role supports review and revision of safety documentation to ensure full regulatory compliance.

Minimum 2–3 years in a safety-related role, Diploma in Safety and Health or DOSH Yellow Book preferred, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are required for independent,

• 2-3 years of safety-related experience in civil works.
• Proficient in MS Office and report writing.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and rectify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions at the work area.
• Correct unsafe acts, conditions and practices at the work area.
• Conduct toolbox talks before starting any work task on site.
• Prepare site diaries and weekly reports.
• Assist review and revise safety and health documentation for compliance.
• Ensure adherence to all rules and regulations at the work area.
• Assist with occupational safety and health matters as required.

About the role

This role involves inspecting and rectifying unsafe acts and conditions at work areas, conducting toolbox talks before work tasks, preparing site diaries and weekly reports, and assisting with the review and revision of safety and health documentation to ensure compliance with all rules and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and rectify any unsafe act and unsafe conditions at the work area
• Correct any unsafe act, unsafe condition and unsafe practices at the work area
• Conduct a tool box talk before start any work task on work area
• Prepare for site diary and weekly report
• Assist review and revise any documentation related to safety and health at work area
• Make sure all rules and regulation to be complied on the work area
• Assist any matter that related with occupational safety and health

Requirements:

Minimum Diploma in Safety and Health or possess a valid Yellow Book from DOSH (Preferred)

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a safety-related role, preferably in the civil works

Able to write work report by using Microsoft Office

Able to work independently with minimum supervision and possess a high sense of responsibility
