ENGENIOUS SOLUTIONS SDN BHD is seeking a proactive Site Safety Supervisor for our Gelang Patah project in Johor. You will work on-site with the Safety & Health Officer, Project Manager and subcontractors to maintain safe working conditions and promote a strong safety culture.

You will monitor daily activities, conduct inspections, identify hazards and ensure proper PPE usage. The role requires at least 2 years in site safety supervision and a valid SSS certification, with strong communication

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field.
• Valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) certification and registration with DOSH/JKKP Malaysia.
• At least 2 years of relevant site safety supervision experience, preferably in construction or engineering.
• Familiarity with Malaysian safety requirements, DOSH/JKKP guidelines and CIDB site requirements.
• Strong observation, communication and reporting skills.

Responsabilités

• Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with safety requirements and company policies.
• Conduct site inspections, identify hazards, assess risks and follow up on corrective actions.
• Ensure PPE use and adherence to site safety rules by workers and subcontractors.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety briefings and pre-task briefings.
• Report and assist in investigating accidents, incidents and near misses with root-cause analysis.
• Prepare safety inspection reports, incident records and safety documentation.
• Check signage, fire extinguishers, first-aid kits and emergency equipment.
• Coordinate with Safety & Health Officer and Project Manager to resolve safety concerns.
• Liaise with subcontractors to meet site safety requirements and support emergency drills.

In this role, you will work closely with the Safety & Health Officer, Project Manager and subcontractors to maintain safe working conditions and promote a strong safety culture.

Your Responsibilities

Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with applicable safety requirements, company policies and safe work procedures.

Conduct site inspections, identify hazards, assess risks and follow up on corrective actions.

Ensure workers and subcontractors use the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow site safety rules.

Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings and pre-task briefings.

Report and assist in investigating accidents, incidents and near misses, including identifying root causes and preventive measures.

Prepare and maintain safety inspection reports, incident records, checklists and other site safety documentation.

Check the condition and availability of safety signage, fire extinguishers, first-aid kits and emergency equipment.

Coordinate with the Safety & Health Officer and Project Manager to resolve safety concerns promptly.

Liaise with subcontractors to ensure their work practices meet site safety requirements.

Support emergency drills and ensure site personnel understand emergency procedures.

What We Are Looking For

Certificate or Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field.

Valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) certification and registration with DOSH/JKKP Malaysia.

At least 2 years of relevant site safety supervision experience, preferably in construction or engineering.

Familiarity with applicable Malaysian occupational safety and health requirements, DOSH/JKKP guidelines and CIDB site requirements.

Strong observation, communication and reporting skills.

A proactive approach to identifying hazards and following through on safety issues.

Confidence to enforce safety requirements and communicate effectively with workers and subcontractors.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Ability to work in outdoor and construction site environments.

Willingness to be based in Gelang Patah, Johor.
