Job summary

AME Elite Consortium Berhad 腾宇集团 is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to support HSE activities at Penang and Johor sites. You will assist the HSE Officer/Manager in implementing the HSEMS, conducting safety audits and toolbox talks, coordinating training, and preparing safety reports.

You will liaise with DOSH and clients on site matters, collect data to monitor HSE status, and act as Secretary of the Safety & Health Committee when the HSE Officer is absent.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Occupational Safety & Health or related discipline.
• Possess SHO certificate from NIOSH or a DOSH-recognized institution.
• Pass SHO exams and have at least 3 years of SHO-related experience.
• Registered with DOSH as Site Safety Supervisor.
• At least 1 year of experience in safety and health matters.

Responsibilities

• Assist HSE on site with safety promotion, audits, meetings, training, reports and record-keeping.
• Assist investigations on incidents and ensure records are maintained.

Site Safety Supervisor (Penang/Johor)

Responsibilities

• Assist HSE Officer/Manager in implementing HSEMS system on site, specifically with safety promotion, safety audit, organizing HSE meetings, conducting toolbox meetings and safety training, preparing reports, maintaining safety records, and conducting accident investigations.
• Assist HSE Officer/Manager in carrying out investigations on all incidents and accidents and ensure that all necessary records are properly maintained.
• Liase with all relevant authorities and clients on matters relating to HSE on site.
• Collect and collate data to monitor the status of HSE at each site.
• Act as Secretary of the Safety & Health Committee in the absence of the HSE Officer.
• Perform any other ad hoc duties that may be assigned by Management.

Qualifications

• At least a Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health or another discipline, or management experience with a certificate of Safety and Health Officer from NIOSH or another institution recognized by DOSH.
• Pass all SHO exams and have the requisite three years of experience for SHO registration.
• Registered with DOSH as a Site Safety Supervisor.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in safety and health matters.
