Job summary

KT - Kinetics Technology is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor for the Hydrogen Production Unit project in Pengerang, Johor, Malaysia. You will promote and maintain a safe working environment by ensuring HSE compliance, supporting site operations, and conducting training activities.

The role requires a CIDB Green Card (preferred) and a minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience, with priority for candidates based in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• University degree or diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent.
• CIDB Green Card (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist to implement daily & monthly HSE surveillance, inspection, monitoring, auditing, programs, and reporting with proper documentation.
• Supervise and inspect daily work at workplace to ensure safe completion of works and compliance with procedures, guidelines, governance, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with related parties to ensure activities are carried out safely.
• Promote and implement HSE culture and company HSE policies at the workplace.
• Conduct and coordinate safety training such as daily TBT and HSE campaigns.
• Implement approved HSE plan and program at workplace.
• Provide sufficient HSE reports to supervisor.
• Advise project team on HSE issues at workplaces.
• Observe and advise on unsafe acts/conditions and coordinate with project team.
• Report and investigate occupational incidents when required.
• Identify, monitor and record all HSE violations.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure HSE information is delivered to all levels.
• Ensure tools and equipment are inspected and fit for use prior to operation.

Job summary/Role description

Site Safety Supervisor responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, supporting site operations through safety monitoring and inspections, conducting awareness and training activities, and assisting in the prevention of workplace incidents and risks.

Duties and responsibilities

• Assists to implement daily & monthly HSE surveillance, inspection, monitoring, auditing, programs, and reporting with proper documentation.
• Supervise and inspect daily work at workplace to ensure completion of works with safe manners and comply with all procedures, guidelines, all governance, and regulatory requirements
• To coordinate with all related parties and ensure activities carried out with safe manners.
• To promote and implement HSE Culture, company HSE policies at workplace.
• To conduct and coordinate sufficient training to all related personnel such as daily TBT, HSE Campaign etc.
• To implement approved HSE Plan and program at workplace.

Person Specification

Knowledge & Qualifications

• University degree or diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent.

Experience

• Candidate must possess a valid CIDB Green Card
• Preferably with experience working on Petronas projects in Pengerang, Johor
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
