Job summary

LHS BINA SDN. BHD. is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to support the implementation of safety measures on the construction site. The role includes reviewing health and safety manuals, promoting safe work practices, and preparing the monthly Safety and Health Report.

The successful candidate will ensure compliance with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001, participate in toolbox talks, inspections, and investigations. This contract-based role may require travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, or NIOSH.
• Yellow Book certification in occupational safety & health.
• Minimum 2 years experience in safety management, especially heavy construction.
• Experience in scaffolding is an advantage.
• Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Experience in ISO construction environments.

Job description

Responsibility to assist the Safety Officer in implementing safety measures and procedures at the construction site.

Review and update health and safety manuals, rules, procedures, etc.

Promote safe conduct of work, ensure personal protection

Compile and update monthly Safety and Health Report at the workplace to keep track of safety performance indicator.

Responsible to comply with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 requirements.

Track and manage toolbox safety meetings.

Ensure safety measures and procedures are in accordance with environmental, safety and health statutory acts and regulations.

Conduct regular inspections, accident/incident investigations and issue instructions to correct any unsafe working condition performed.

Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned from time to time by the Management.

Requirements:-

Education: Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, NIOSH.

Possess "Yellow Book" certification in occupational safety and health.

Min 2 years experience in the aspect of safety awareness management, particularly in the heavy construction field.

Experience in scaffolding is added advantage.

Good communication skills with proficiency in written and spoken English.

Have experience working in an ISO construction environment.

Must be willing to travel/ be relocated (site based).
