Job summary

Ocean Vantage Engineering Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) to oversee HSSE compliance during operations and projects in Malaysia.

The role requires coordinating safety across concurrent work fronts, conducting inspections, audits and toolbox briefings, and ensuring adherence to PTW and JSA procedures. The ideal candidate will have a NIOSH Yellow Book certification, at least 2 years of SSS experience, and strong communication and regulatory knowledge to promote a proactive

Qualifications

Must hold NIOSH Yellow Book certification.
Minimum 2 years of Site Safety Supervisor experience.
Strong knowledge of PTW, JSA, toolbox meetings and safety inspections.
Familiar with Malaysian occupational safety legislation and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

Monitor and ensure HSSE compliance during daily operations and project activities.
Conduct safety inspections, audits, and workplace observations.
Facilitate toolbox briefings and safety awareness activities.
Ensure PTW compliance and adherence to approved work procedures.
Review JSA and risk control measures for site activities.
Coordinate safety requirements across concurrent activities.
Document inspections, audits, observations, incidents.
Support incident and near-miss reporting and investigations.
Liaise with Operations, Project, Maintenance and contractors on HSSE matters.
Promote continuous HSSE improvement and culture.
