Job summary

Dwisolar Sdn Bhd is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to manage construction-site health and safety programs, assess hazards, and conduct regular inspections. You will lead safety initiatives, coordinate with engineers and project managers, and ensure adherence to guidelines across the project site.

The role requires a Diploma/Certificate in first line management or related field, strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills, plus familiarity with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate in first line management or relevant field.
• A high school diploma; a BSc/BA in management is advantageous.
• Proven experience as supervisor or in a relevant role.
• Familiarity with company policies and legal guidelines of the field.
• Ability to learn a variety of job descriptions.

Responsibilities

• Set goals for performance and deadlines aligned with plans and communicate to workers.
• Organize workflow and clarify duties and delegated tasks.
• Monitor productivity and provide coaching to workers.
• Monitor project site progress and assist engineer or PM for site inspections.
• Receive complaints and resolve problems promptly.
• Maintain timekeeping and workers' records.
• Pass information between management and employees.
• Prepare and submit daily site diaries or performance reports.
• Train new workers.

Job description

The Site Safety Supervisor involves the management and supervision of a construction site in accordance with health and safety guidelines. The Site Supervisor must assess hazards, determine risks, conduct regular inspections and maintain a safety program.

Key responsibilities

• Set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company's plans and vision and communicate them to workers
• Organize workflow and ensure that workers understand their duties or delegated tasks
• Monitor workers' productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching
• Monitor project site progress
• Assist engineer or project manager for site inspection
• Receive complaints and resolve problems
• Maintain timekeeping and worker's records
• Pass on information from upper management to employees and vice versa
• Prepare and submit daily site diary or performance reports
• Train new workers

About you

• Diploma/Certificate in first line management or relevant field
• High school diploma; BSc/BA in management or relevant discipline will be considered an advantage
• Proven experience as supervisor or relevant role
• Familiarity with company policies and legal guidelines of the field
• Ability to learn a variety of job descriptions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Valid Yellow Book
• Knowledge and experience with data centers would be an added advantage
