Jora Malaysia is seeking an HSE professional to assist in implementing the HSE Management System at project sites in Malaysia. You will proactively identify hazards, assess risks, and recommend controls while ensuring subcontractors follow safety procedures.
You will review HIRARC, support EPR coordination, and conduct regular inspections to improve safety performance and KPI achievement.

Responsible for assisting in the implementation of the HSE Management System at project site.
Take proactive measures to identify hazards, assess risks, and recommend suitable control measures to minimize workplace risks.
Ensure subcontractors and workers comply with HSE Management System requirements and safety procedures.
Assist in reviewing HIRARC and Job Hazard Analysis before work execution.
Support Emergency Preparedness and Response (EPR) coordination and ensure relevant communication is distributed to responsible parties.
Coordinate with subcontractors and workers for HSE internal training implementation.
Conduct periodic HSE inspections and submit reports to HQ.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to safety performance at project sites.
Build and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, stakeholders, and the public.
Assist in achieving company and project safety KPIs.
Immediate availability is an advantage.
Yellow Book (DOSH) is NOT required. However, candidates with site safety experience are encouraged to apply.
At least 1-2 years working experience at construction site / ICT project site / engineering environment.
Familiar with basic construction site safety practices and HSE procedures.
Knowledge in HIRARC and site risk control is an added advantage.
Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Detail-oriented with good time management skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Willing to work irregular or extended hours when required by project needs.
