Job summary

Ragawang Corporation Sdn Bhd is seeking a Safety Officer to oversee construction site safety planning and daily safety briefings. You will conduct safety inductions for workers and contractors, monitor health and safety conditions, and investigate incidents with prompt reporting to Headquarters.

The role requires familiarity with CIDB/JKKP regulations, Yellow Book registration, and ability to work independently within a dynamic project team in Selangor.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years experience in the construction sector.
• Registered with Yellow Book / JKKP and CIDB.
• Good knowledge of liaising with authorities incl. CIDB, JKKP, etc.
• Able to work independently with initiative and discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety planning for construction sites and conduct daily safety briefings.
• Conduct safety inductions for workers, employees and contractors.
• Monitor safe and healthy working conditions on site.
• Investigate accidents and submit reports to Headquarters.
• Develop project safety plans and generate monthly safety reports.
• Liaise with authorities and site team on safety, health and environmental issues.
• Manage daily safety supervision and overall HSE activities at the project site.
• Perform other project duties as assigned by Superior.

Job description

Responsible for construction site safety planning, daily safety briefings and conducting safety induction program for workers, employees and contractors.

Monitor the establishment and maintenance of a safe and health working conditions in a workplace.

To conduct investigation into any accidents at site and submit a report to Headquarters.

To develop project safety plan, implement and generate monthly report.

Liaise with relevant authorities and work closely with the site team on workplace safety, health and environmental issues to maintain high level of safety and housekeeping at project site.

Technically competent and able to manage and perform daily routine safety supervisions and the overall safety and health activities within the assigned project site.

Perform any other project duties as assigned by Superior.

Requirements : -

At least 3 years working experience in CONSTRUCTION sector.

SSS with valid valid YELLOW BOOK / JKKP registration and CIDB Registration.

Good knowledge and experience to liaise with all relevant authorities and the requirements including CIDB, JKKP & etc.

Able to work independently and possess good initiative.

Good interpersonal skills and communicate well with all parties in the project.

Highly discipline, responsible and very duty bound.

Remuneration will be commensurate with experience and personal capabilities.
