Job summary

C N H CONSTRUCTION (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to oversee daily safety activities on the construction site in Malaysia.

You will monitor compliance, enforce PPE usage, conduct toolbox talks, and report safety issues to management. The role requires identifying hazards, coordinating with management, and ensuring adherence to statutory requirements. You will maintain safety records, conduct inspections, and ensure safe work practices across high-risk activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily safety inspections at the construction site
• Monitor workers, subcontractors and site activities to ensure safe working practices
• Ensure all workers wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Identify hazards and unsafe conditions and take immediate corrective action
• Monitor high-risk activities such as working at height, excavation, lifting operations, scaffolding and electrical works
• Conduct daily toolbox meetings / safety briefings
• Ensure safety signs, barricades, warning notices and housekeeping are properly maintained
• Assist in preparing and maintaining HIRARC, inspection checklists, permits and safety records
• Report accidents, incidents and near misses to the Site Manager/Safety Officer
• Ensure subcontractors comply with company safety rules and statutory requirements
