Job summary

GET BUILDERS PROSPECT SDN BHD is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to monitor and enforce site safety and health requirements, conduct daily inspections, and coordinate safety compliance across construction activities.

You will lead toolbox talks, ensure PPE usage, maintain safety records, and investigate incidents with management for corrective actions. On-site role with hands-on safety responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure compliance with site safety and health requirements, company safety policies and applicable regulations.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions and potential hazards.
• Ensure workers and subcontractors comply with site safety procedures and requirements.
• Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings and inductions for workers and subcontractors.
• Monitor the proper use of PPE at the construction site.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining safety documentation, reports, records and checklists.
• Report safety violations, incidents, near misses and hazardous conditions to the Project Manager / Construction Manager.
• Assist in investigating accidents and incidents and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors and site personnel on safety-related matters.
• Ensure good housekeeping and safe working practices are maintained throughout the site.

Job description

Assist in preparing and maintaining safety documentation, reports, records and checklists

Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors and site personnel on safety-related matters

About you

Diploma / Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health, Construction or a related field

Possess a valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) competency certificate / Yellow Book recognised by DOSH/JKKP Malaysia, where applicable

The required safety competency/registration must remain valid throughout the employment period

Relevant experience in construction site safety supervision is preferred

Good knowledge of construction safety practices and requirements

Able to identify site hazards and take appropriate corrective action

Good communication and coordination skills

Responsible, disciplined and willing to work on-site

Able to work effectively with project teams, contractors, subcontractors and workers
