Cleanroom Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking a Site Safety Officer to oversee EHS compliance on construction projects. The role involves evaluating hazards, conducting safety meetings, and ensuring equipment is maintained to a safe standard.
You will liaise with DOSH, CIDB, and other authorities, secure permits, and support the Project Manager in enforcing safety policies to keep work on schedule and to meet approved specifications.

To ensure compliance with statutory safety, health and environmental laws and by-laws, the company's EHS regulations and procedures.
To evaluate and analyse any hazardous conditions and recommend corrective and preventive actions to top management.
Conduct periodic safety meetings and audits to ensure compliance with EHS requirements.
To ensure and be responsible for registration of company machinery, equipment, tools and maintain all to be in good working condition.
To investigate accidents, near-misses and other dangerous incidents.
Liaison with the Local Authorities (DOSH,DOE,CIDB,BOMBA and etc) on matters concerning ESH matters.
To monitor and ensure quality of installation work is carried out at site.
Prepare Site Incident Prevention Plan and all other Safety & Health Plans and follow up actions to monitor and ensure compliance by the project team.
To apply for all the necessary and required health and safety permits from the relevant authorities for construction on site.
To assist Project Manager/Project Executive in implementing company safety policies and be involved in all safety-related issues.
To ensure jobs carried out are in accordance with approved specifications, and regulatory safety standards and on schedule.
Minimum Yellow Book/Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) certification.
Minimum 3 years of working experience in an engineering/architectural and construction process.
Proficient in standard requirements of DOSH, FMA and CIDB.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
