Job summary

Secom (M) Sdn Bhd in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, is seeking a dedicated Site Safety Supervisor to ensure health, safety and environmental compliance across our construction operations. This full-time role focuses on implementing safety protocols, inspections, and promoting a safety culture among site personnel.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of safety supervision experience in construction, DOSH Yellow Book certification, and strong knowledge of local and international safety standards;

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in site safety supervision or similar safety management role in construction.
• Valid Yellow Book certification by DOSH (Mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian OSH regulations and international safety standards.
• Proficiency in accident investigation methodologies and root cause analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to engage workers at all levels.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills for safety records and reports.
• Immediate availability is highly encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily safety inspections and audits across construction sites.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Safety Supervisor to join Secom (M) Sdn Bhd in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental compliance across our construction operations. As Site Safety Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of workplace safety, implementing safety protocols, and fostering a culture of safety awareness among all site personnel. This role is essential to protecting our workforce and ensuring our projects meet all regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily safety inspections and audits across construction sites to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive site safety plans and procedures aligned with local and international safety standards
• Provide safety inductions and training to all site workers, supervisors, and management personnel
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Monitor and enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices across all site activities
• Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and documentation required for regulatory compliance and auditing purposes
• Conduct regular toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions to promote a strong safety culture on site
• Liaise with regulatory authorities, external safety consultants, and project stakeholders regarding safety matters
• Identify potential environmental hazards and implement mitigation measures to minimise environmental impact
• Recommend and oversee the implementation of safety improvements and corrective measures

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Site Safety Supervisor or similar safety management role within the construction industry
• Candidates with relevant experience in data center projects will have an added advantage.
• Valid Yellow Book certified by DOSH (Mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian occupational safety and health regulations and international safety standards
• Proficiency in accident investigation methodologies and root cause analysis
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with workers at all levels
• Strong organizational and documentation skills with proficiency in health and safety management systems
• Physical fitness to conduct regular site inspections and walkabouts
• Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver training programme
• Knowledge of environmental management practices and sustainability principles is advantageous
• Computer literacy and familiarity with safety management software would be beneficial
