OSK Construction Sdn Bhd is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor for our Balok, Kuantan residential development. You will support the Safety & Health Officer in planning, reviewing, and implementing SHE procedures, ensuring compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act and related regulations.

The role requires a Diploma/ Degree in Occupational Safety and Health and a valid SSS registration, with 2–3 years of construction site safety experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) competency registration with the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH/JKKP).
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in construction site safety, preferably high-rise residential or building construction project.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian occupational safety and health legislation, including the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 and applicable construction safety regulations.
• Familiarity with construction hazards such as working at height, scaffolding, lifting operations, temporary works, and fall protection.
• Experience in site inspections, safety inductions, toolbox meetings, and incident investigations.

• Coordinate with sub-contractors and verify their safety procedures.
• Liaise with OSHA and relevant bodies on safety and health requirements and compliance.
• Liaise with security personnel to safeguard company assets.
• Ensure safety-related tools and aids are in working order.

This role will be hired under the construction arm of the OSK Group, namely OSK Construction Sdn. Bhd.

OSK Construction is responsible for construction and project execution, mainly for OSK Group’s property development projects and selected external jobs.

We’re expanding our team and looking for a dedicated Site Safety Supervisor for our residential development in Balok, Kuantan. Let’s build something great together !

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES :

This role will be responsible for supporting Safety & Health Officer on comprehensive planning, consultation, review, discussion, information dissemination, and implementation of all Safety Health & Environment (SHE) procedures, including adherence to legal and other mandatory safety, health and environmental regulations at the designated construction site.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN :

• To prepare and implement project safety plan.
• To conduct site safety meetings, prepare minutes and propose for improvements to work practices.
• To perform daily inspection at construction site to verify conformance with the approved safety program.
• To ensure new employees are issued the relevant safety tools and information appropriate for his/her job.
• To prepare daily safety inspection report and monthly accident status report.
• To carry out accident investigation and issue instructions to correct any unsafe working condition performed by other staff or sub-contractors.
• To coordinate with sub-contractors and verify sub-contractors’ safety working procedures prior to implementation or commencement of work at site.
• To liaise with OSHA and relevant bodies on safety and health requirements and compliance.
• To liaise with security personnel to ensure safety of company’s assets in custody at all time.
• To ensure safety related tools, equipment and aids (e.g., first aid kit, firefighting appliance, etc.) are in working order.
• To carry out any other duties as and when instructed by the Management from time to time.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE:

• Diploma/ Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or any related field.

• Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently in a fast-paced construction site environment.
