Zusammenfassung

PCA Group Sdn Bhd is seeking a knowledgeable Health and Safety Officer to oversee day-to-day site safety operations across Malaysia. The role requires active supervision to ensure adherence to the HSE Plan, updating manuals, and delivering safety training to staff, vendors, and subcontractors.

Ideal candidates will hold a Green Book (DOSH), scaffold certificate, and AETS, with at least 5 years in Safety & Health for construction projects and familiarity with OHSA 1994, Factory & Machinery Act,

Qualifikationen

• Registered Safety and Health Officer with DOSH (Green Book)
• Minimum 5 years' Safety & Health experience in construction projects
• Familiar with OHSA 1994 Act and Factory & Machinery Act regulations
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with good documentation skills

Aufgaben

• Carry out day-to-day site operations and supervise site work to ensure safety per the HSE Plan
• Review and update health and safety manuals and procedures at sites
• Provide safety guidance and on-site training to employees, vendors and sub-contractors
• Investigate accidents and near-misses; report findings with countermeasures
• Maintain ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 implementation for the site
• Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and regulatory requirements
• Attend client meetings on safety matters

The Job

Carry out day-to-day site operations and supervise sites work to ensure that safety aspect is carried out in accordance with the HSE Plan.

Review and update health and safety manuals, rules, procedures & etc. at sites.

Ensure that all operations are carried out safely.

Provide safety guidance and training on site to employees, vendors and sub-contractors.

Responsibilities

To advise management on the requirements of Safety, Health & Environmental related matters and ensure compliance to current regulations such as Environmental ACT, FMA, DOSH, DOE and other related safety regulations

To investigate any accident, near-miss accident, dangerous occurrences, occupational diseases and report to the management with counter measure and preventive actions.

To maintain the implementation of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 for site

Ensure the Company compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.

Take reasonably practical measures to eliminate any foreseeable risk to any person who is at that workplace.

Attend meeting with clients on safety matter

The Candidate

Candidate must a registered Safety and Health Officer with DOSH. Green book holder.

Candidate must hold scaffold certificate & AETS.

Minimum 5 years' experience of Safety & Health in construction projects.

Familiar with Malaysia HSE legal requirements such as OHSA 1994 Act, Factory and Machinery Act with regulations, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

Computer literate and with good spoken & written English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Must be willing to travel at sites covering entire Malaysia.

Ability to work under pressure and exceptional time management

Able to conduct Safety & Health internal training and mentoring the Site employees, Site Safety Supervisors.
