Responsibilities

• Support final inspections and project handover with clients.
• Perform material inspections, site testing, and quality documentation.
• Assist project team in resolving technical and quality issues.
• Prepare quality reports and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Support training and ensure proper construction procedures are followed on site.

Job Description

• Conducting site quality inspections and quality assurance activities. (Monitoring compliance with project specifications, method statements, and designed standards).
• Conduct site visits for new projects, provide design and technical support during kick-off meetings (including technical presentations).
• Provide technical support during final inspections and project handover meetings with clients.
• Performing material inspections, site testing, and quality documentation.
• Assisting the project team in resolving technical and quality-related issues.
• Preparing quality reports and providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Supporting technical training and ensuring that proper construction procedures are implemented at site.

Job Requirement

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Site QC Engineer in the road construction industry.
• Must be willing and able to travel frequently within Malaysia.
• Extensive knowledge of road construction materials, testing methods, and quality control processes.
• High integrity, honesty, and accountability.
• Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to quality.
• Able to communicate and work effectively with people at all levels, including site workers, supervisors, contractors, and client engineers.
• Willing to assist and support colleagues whenever required.
• Good problem-solving skills, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
• Able to work independently while maintaining good teamwork.
• Familiarity with relevant construction regulations, codes, and standards.
