Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Technology, or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in civil engineering, infrastructure, or road construction.
• Experience supervising road construction activities including earthworks, drainage, pavement, asphalt.
• Ability to read construction drawings, specs, method statements, and schedules.
• Supervise subcontractors and monitor manpower productivity while ensuring quality and safety.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily site records including diary, manpower, equipment usage, material deliveries, progress, and issues.
• Monitor project progress against the approved work programme and highlight delays or risks.
• Perform other duties assigned by Senior Project Manager or Management.

2. Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, workers, suppliers, and site resources to ensure smooth site operations and timely completion of project activities.
3. Monitor road construction works including earthworks, excavation, filling, drainage works, subgrade preparation, pavement works, asphalt laying, kerb installation, and other related civil works.
4. Ensure all construction works comply with project quality requirements, approved materials, construction standards, and client specifications.
5. Conduct regular site inspections to identify defects, non-conformance issues, safety hazards, and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.
6. Maintain daily site records including site diary, manpower records, equipment usage, material deliveries, work progress, and site issues.
7. Monitor project progress against the approved work programme and highlight any delays, constraints, or potential risks affecting project completion.
8. Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Senior Project Manager or Management to ensure successful completion of the project.

Job Requirements:

1. Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Technology, or equivalent qualification.
2. Minimum 3–5 years of working experience in civil engineering, infrastructure, or road construction projects.
3. Experienced in supervising road construction activities including earthworks, drainage, pavement, asphalt works, and infrastructure development.
4. Able to read and interpret construction drawings, technical specifications, method statements, and project work schedules.
5. Able to supervise subcontractors, monitor manpower productivity, and ensure works are completed according to quality and safety requirements.
6. Computer literate with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Knowledge of AutoCAD or project monitoring tools is an added advantage.
