Job summary

CRCG (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Material Controller for a construction site in Sabah, Malaysia.

You will manage registration, receiving, inspection and storage of all incoming materials, and maintain accurate records of material usage and stock. Responsibilities include checking DOs/POs against specs, issuing materials to teams, performing stock counts, reporting shortages or excesses, and coordinating with procurement, subcontractors and site management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in building construction projects.
• Mandarin-speaking is required to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Candidates with experience as Material Controller/Storekeeper are advantageous.
• Familiar with major construction materials and their basic applications on site.

Responsibilities

• Register, receive, inspect, accept and store all incoming materials at the project site.
• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials, including DO/PO and documentation.
• Check incoming materials against DOs, purchase orders, specs and requirements.
• Manage issuance and distribution of materials to teams and subcontractors.
• Maintain records of material usage and remaining stock.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with records.
