Job summary

AME Construction Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Material Controller to manage receiving, issuing and tracking of project materials and consumables. The role includes safeguarding welding consumables, maintaining stock levels and updating ERP records for site and workshop needs.

The candidate should have at least 3 years of relevant experience and a minimum SPM or equivalent qualification. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required to support reporting and inventory control.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Minimum qualification SPM or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Receive project materials and track allocation per project/building.
• Safekeep welding consumables and maintain records.
• Propose and maintain minimum stock levels as forecasted for projects.
• Conduct monthly stock takes and update consumable reports.
• Prepare weekly gas cylinder receiving/issuing reports.
• Maintain hand tools/equipment records and issue DO for site usage/repair.
• Enter consumable, tools and equipment receiving DO into ERP system regularly.
• Coordinate purchase requests and follow up for site/workshop requisitions.
• Receive and sign off return notes and perform housekeeping for site equipment.
• Handle any ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisor or management.

What You Will Do:

• Receive project materials, consumables Consumable item receiving, issuing and keep track for every item allocated to which project and building.
• Safe keep and preserve of welding consumable.
• Propose minimum stock level and maintain the minimum stock as per forecast of project.
• Up keep project consumable report and conduct stock take in monthly basis.
• Maintain, calculate and produce gas cylinders receiving and issuing report in weekly basis.
• Maintain and update hand tools and equipment record and issuing DO when send for site usage and repairing.
• Key in consumable, tools and equipment receiving DO to ERP system in routine.
• Coordinate, issue purchase request and follow up for workshop and Site requisition on consumable, tools, equipment and PPE.
• Received, sign off the return note and housekeeping for the equipment and consumable that return from Site.
• Any other ad-hoc task that assigned by superior or management.

What We Are Looking For:

• Minimum of 3 year of relevant work experience.
• Minimum qualification SPM or equivalent.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office.
