Job summary

Makeabl Sdn Bhd, a cutting-edge tech company for photo and video capture, seeks a dynamic Site Manager for Penang Island. You will inspire high-performing teams across multiple sites in Penang to achieve strong sales and operational excellence.

In this role you will lead 10–12 staff, train them, manage daily site operations, handle inventory and guest queries, and report weekly to management. Travel within Penang is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in customer-facing industries such as Retail, F&B, Photography.
• Experience leading teams of 8–12 people.
• Able to drive sales targets and manage daily site operations.

Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly sales targets set by the company
• Lead and train a team of 10-12 people across multiple sites in Penang
• Ensure efficient daily site operations and provide the right support to teams to drive sales
• Manage equipment, inventory, and daily sales reconciliation effectively
• Address guest queries and resolve issues with professionalism and care
• Engage with clients to maintain seamless site coordination at sites
• Provide weekly sales and operational updates and reports to management

Makeabl Sdn Bhd is a cutting edge tech-first company that provides photo and video capture technologies to the world\'s most loved attractions. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Site Manager who can inspire high-performing teams to drive strong sales and operational excellence at our sites in Penang. This is a Penang Island based role and will require travel within the Penang area.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly sales targets set by the company
• Lead and train a team of 10-12 people across multiple sites in Penang
• Ensure efficient daily site operations and provide the right support to teams to drive sales
• Manage equipment, inventory, and daily sales reconciliation effectively
• Address guest queries and resolve issues with professionalism and care
• Engage with clients to maintain seamless site coordination at sites
• Provide weekly sales and operational updates and reports to management

About you

• Prior experience in a sales environment driving sales
• Team leader experience managing 8-12+ people in a team
• 5+ years of experience in customer-facing industries such as Retail, F\&B, Photography
• Proficient in English, Bahasa Malay (additional language is a plus)
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and people skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• A hands-on mindset and ability to lead by example
