Job summary

Bright Symphony Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a site engineer to supervise construction projects from start to finish, ensuring plans and specifications are met.

The candidate will inspect sites, interpret drawings and reports, coordinate materials, and provide technical guidance to resolve challenges. A civil engineering degree and 4–5 years' experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
• 4–5 years of site/civil engineering experience.
• Proficient in managing and supervising construction projects.
• Experience with AutoCAD and other software.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Supervising and managing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues and ensure compliance with engineering and design requirements.

Analysing and interpreting engineering drawings, survey reports and other technical documentation to guide the construction process.

Coordinate with procurement and delivery of construction materials, ensuring their compliance with industry standards.

Providing technical guidance and expertise to resolve construction-related challenges.

Skills and qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent
• 4-5 years of experience as a site engineer, civil engineer or an equivalent role.
• Demonstrated proficiency in managing and supervising construction projects.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD and other software.
• Ability to manage multiple construction projects at various stages of their lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and regulations.
