Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee daily site activities and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure work is performed to schedule and specifications. The role requires strong attention to safety, quality, and reporting accuracy.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Electrical Engineering, can operate AutoCAD and MS Office, and is able to work independently while traveling to project sites. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Site supervision and arrangement of site works and activities at the construction site.
• Monitor work progress, assist sub-contractors to carry out works on schedule and conform to specifications.
• Attend meetings and liaise closely with client/ consultant and local authorities.
• Carry out joint inspection with client’s/ consultant’s representatives.
• Responsible for all personnel functions of sub-contractors and workers at the construction site.
• Ensure coordination of works among all sub-contractors and site staff.
• Check daily attendance of sub-contractors for late arrival, absent, early departure, etc.
• Ensure discipline and good morale maintained at the construction site.
• Ensure site safety and health requirements are maintained and practiced at all times.
• Ensure quality of work is up to specified requirements.
• Monitor delivery of construction materials and ensure quality/types/dimensions are as per specifications.
• Preparation of work progress report and other relevant reports for the project.
• Accountable for the quality, safety, health and environmental management at the workplace and project site.
• Undertake special assignment, ad hoc functions and related duties as assigned.
