Job summary

PEMBINAAN TAJRI SDN BHD is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating and monitoring electrical activities at project sites in Malaysia. You will review drawings, liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and authorities, and ensure works follow drawings, specifications, and safety procedures.

The role requires a degree in Electrical/Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Candidates with Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology qualifications may be considered if they have relevant electrical, construction or project experience.
• Good knowledge of electrical works, drawings and project documentation.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a project team.
• Willing to travel and work at project sites across Malaysia.
• Possess a valid driving licence.
• Experience in TNB, HV, substation, underground cable, transmission line or EPCC projects is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project progress, work schedules, manpower, materials and equipment.
• Review and coordinate electrical drawings, specifications, method statements and technical submissions.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and relevant authorities.
• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, TNB requirements and safety procedures.
• Monitor subcontractors' work progress and performance.
• Attend site meetings and prepare project progress reports, site records and related documentation.
• Assist in resolving technical and site issues to ensure timely project completion.
• Ensure proper coordination between electrical, civil and other project disciplines.
• Support testing, commissioning, inspection and handover activities where applicable.

About you
