Job summary

Accesstech Engineering in Gelang Patah, Johor, is seeking a Site Engineer to coordinate site activities, prepare submission documents and develop electrical systems per project requirements.

You will liaise with customers, consultants, sub-contractors and vendors on site, review drawings, perform basic calculations and assist in design, scheduling, safety management, testing and handover of completed works.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the local construction engineering industry.
• Experience in design, HT exposure and/or Control Panel/BMS.
• Outgoing with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and be target oriented.
• Able to communicate in English.
• Electrical engineering experience: 3 years (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Site preparation and coordination, preparation of submission documents.
• Create and develop electrical systems and components based on project requirements.
• Coordinate, liaise and manage various project stakeholders including customers, consultants, sub- contractors, vendors, etc. on site to ensure project requirements are met.
• Able to communicate effectively to all stakeholders.
• Prepare and create detail work schedule, manpower and resource planning.
• Understand engineering drawings and perform basic engineering calculations, design, etc.
• Assist in the development of electrical designs and plans for construction projects.
• Coordinate the safety management system on site.
• Follow up and reporting on the project progress.
• Participate in site visits to understand project requirements and constraints.
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment.
• Assist in the commissioning and handover of completed electrical works.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any electrical issues that arise during the construction process.
• All other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by reporting manager.
