Job summary

TSR Bina in Malaysia is seeking a Civil/Building/Engineering professional to plan and supervise earthworks and infrastructure projects. The candidate will execute and control activities within budget, time, and quality, and liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to keep projects moving smoothly.

You will monitor site logistics, read and interpret drawings, manage material usage, and prepare reports, variation orders, and documentation.

Qualifications

• At least Civil/Building/Engineering qualification or diploma with 3 years of Civil/earthworks experience.
• Knowledge of site logistics and planning.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications and related construction materials.

Responsibilities

• Execute and control project activities within the desired budget, time, and quality.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities.
• Organize and coordinate tender exercises on earthworks, piling, infrastructure.
• Be responsible for material control to minimize wastage of ordered and used materials.
• Review site diary, weekly reports, and progress reports; ensure drawings are updated.
• Prepare documentation, correspondence, claims, variation orders, instruction reports.

Job description

• To liaise with clients, consultants, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities.
• To organize and coordinate the tender exercise on earthworks, piling works, infrastructure works, etc.
• To be responsible for material control by ensuring minimum wastage of material ordered and used.
• Examine all the report on site diary (submitted by clerk-of-work), site weekly report (submitted by clerk-of-work) and site meeting progress report (submitted by contractor) and to ensure all the drawings forwarded by consultant are updated and in order.
• To prepare documentation, correspondence, claim, variation order, instruction reports, etc.

REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate must possess at least Civil / Building / Engineering or equivalent or diploma holders with at least 3 years of experience in Civil and Earthwork Construction.
• Knowledge on site logistic and planning.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications and other material pertinent to construction.
