Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a qualified Civil/Structural Engineer to supervise structural works on site in Malaysia. You will ensure compliance with quality and safety standards and monitor construction progress.

The role requires a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with the ability to interpret complex blueprints and drawings, and experience in managing C&S works for construction or infrastructure projects. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

• Previous experience in managing C&S works for construction or infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise structural works including piling, foundation, RC structures, and steel framing.
• Review Civil & Structural drawings and identify discrepancies or technical issues, raising RFIs to consultants when necessary.
• Ensure all structural works comply with the Quality Management System and site safety guidelines.
• Monitor work progress and ensure work is carried out according to the construction schedule.
• Verify and maintain updated "As-Built" drawings as site work progresses.
