Job summary

Cwest Corporation Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia is seeking a Civil & Structural Site Engineer/Site Supervisor to plan and supervise construction works for water and wastewater treatment plants.

You will coordinate daily activities at the worksite, ensure adherence to design plans, and enforce safety regulations while supervising contractors to meet budget and schedule. Interpret drawings, manage projects to specification, prepare site reports, provide technical advice, and handle construction issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil & Structural engineering or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of relevant field experience.
• Willingness to relocate and travel within Malaysia.

Job description

Responsible for planning and supervising the construction works of water and wastewater treatment plants, a Civil and Structural (C&S) Site Engineer/ Site Supervisor coordinates daily construction activities at the worksite to meet the project's progress and quality goals. Besides supervising contractors and workers to complete the project within the given budget and time frame, the Engineer/Supervisor has to ensure that all construction work is carried out in accordance with the design plan, and the relevant construction regulations such as workplace safety and heath are adhered to. Able to:

Interpret technical designs and drawings.

Manage projects to meet agreed specifications and timeline.

Prepare site reports.

Provide technical advice and resolve technical issues that arise during construction.

Supervise construction works.

Any and all other duties as and when assigned from time to time by the superior/ management.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma/ Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil & Structural) or equivalent.

At least 1-2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Required language(s): Bahasa Melayu, English.

Working experience in water and wastewater treatment plants is an advantage.

Able to work independently.

Must have a valid driving license.

Candidate must be willing to be relocated and/or travel throughout Malaysia.

Candidate with Engineering/Construction background will be an added advantage.
