Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science; Master's is an added advantage.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant engineering project execution experience, preferably in industrial water/wastewater.
• Hands-on experience in site supervision, project coordination, installation and commissioning.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings, technical specifications and project execution processes.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of SolidWorks is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple engineering projects throughout the project lifecycle, from planning, procurement and execution to installation, commissioning and final handover.
• Oversee technical implementation covering mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control systems, as well as chemical and biological treatment processes.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their requirements, managing technical discussions and ensuring alignment.
• Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to align technical requirements, coordinate project activities and ensure successful project execution.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors, subcontractors and site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety requirements and agreed timelines.
• Review engineering deliverables, technical drawings and project documentation, facilitate technical discussions and implement corrective actions to resolve project issues.
• Monitor project performance, identify issues, coordinate troubleshooting and implement corrective actions to ensure timely delivery, budget control and quality standards.
• Share knowledge and provide technical guidance to project team members while promoting teamwork, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Ensure all project and site activities comply with the Company's ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS), applicable safety requirements, established procedures and relevant regulatory standards.
• Perform other project-related duties and ad hoc assignments as assigned by the superior.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to lead end-to-end project execution, from planning and coordination through installation, commissioning and handover. The role is responsible for overseeing technical requirements, project schedules, budgets and stakeholder coordination to ensure successful project delivery in accordance with quality standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science. A Master's Degree is an added advantage.

Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in engineering project execution, preferably in industrial water and wastewater treatment (WWTP/WTP).

Hands-on experience in site supervision, project coordination, installation and commissioning.

Good understanding of engineering drawings, technical specifications and project execution processes.

Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of SolidWorks is an added advantage.

Strong project management, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Ability to lead project activities independently, coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple priorities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive, responsible and results-oriented attitude.

Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Chinese language proficiency is an added advantage, particularly when communicating with clients and stakeholders from China.

Willing to travel locally and internationally for project installation and commissioning, depending on project requirements.

Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015, quality management practices, project documentation control and occupational safety and health (OSH) requirements is an added advantage.
