Job summary

Tensioned Fabric Structure in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Site Engineer to supervise daily site activities, interpret drawings, and ensure work aligns with project specs, timelines, and quality standards.

You will coordinate with project managers, contractors, and suppliers, provide technical and site support to the sales team, and ensure HSE compliance while traveling to sites as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Site Engineer or similar role in construction projects, roofing or architectural products.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily site activities to ensure work aligns with project specs, drawings, and schedules.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers.
• Provide technical and site support to project sales team.
• Liaise with internal design & engineering department and in-house / external production matters.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations at the site.
• Check technical designs and drawings for accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Prepare and maintain site reports, progress updates, and documentation.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues or design conflicts.
• Manage site resources including manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Ensure quality control of workmanship and materials used.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities when required.
• Assist in cost control, variation claims, and project billing matters.
