Job summary

Rockone Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a Site Electrician / Electrical Technician to perform electrical installation, maintenance, inspection and repair works at construction sites. You will install and maintain wiring, lighting, distribution boards, temporary power and equipment, and troubleshoot faults.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of electrical experience, preferably in construction or industrial projects.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• PW2/PW4 certification is an advantage.
• Willing to work overtime and be safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, inspection and repair works at the construction site.
• Install and maintain electrical wiring, lighting, distribution boards, temporary power supply and electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and carry out necessary repairs.
• Conduct regular inspection of electrical systems, cables, tools and equipment.
• Ensure all electrical works are carried out safely and according to site requirements and applicable standards.
• Read and understand electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and basic technical documents.
• Assist the Site Engineer / Electrical Supervisor with electrical-related works.
• Maintain proper records of electrical inspections, repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure electrical tools and equipment are properly maintained and safely used.
• Follow company safety procedures and construction site requirements.
• Perform other electrical-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

Malaysian citizen; Sabah candidates preferred if that is your hiring requirement.

Minimum 2–3 years of relevant electrical experience, preferably in construction or industrial projects.

Certificate/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related qualification is an advantage.

PW2/PW4 Wireman certification is an advantage, especially if the position requires competent electrical work. Current Sabah listings specifically advertise PW4-certified electricians.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Willing to work overtime when required.

Good communication and problem-solving skills.
