Job summary

CEC SED TECHNOLOGY SDN BHD is seeking an experienced on-site Construction Supervisor to oversee daily construction management, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and safety regulations. The role requires coordinating with subcontractors, managing field issues, and maintaining thorough documentation.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma or higher in Civil Engineering or related fields, 5+ years of hands-on site experience, and CIDB Green Card certification.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on local site experience, familiar with main contractor–subcontractor workflows.
• Mandatory CIDB Site Supervisor Certification (Green Card).
• Proficiency in basic surveying tools (level meters, measuring tapes) and AutoCAD Viewer.
• Soft Skills: Strong stress tolerance, adaptable to prolonged outdoor work in high-temperature and rainy environments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise subcontractors and workers to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications; manage on-site procedures (formwork, rebar, concrete).
• Direct workers to resolve technical issues and coordinate on-site resources.
• Monitor daily/weekly progress and report delays; adjust sequences to address emergencies.
• Conduct on-site safety inspections and ensure OSHA compliance; halt violations if needed.
• Complete daily Site Diaries and organize on-site photos/videos for QA/QC.
• Liaise with Client Representatives or Consultants during inspections; accompany CIDB/JKR site visits.
