Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or related construction discipline.
• Certificate / SKM or technical qualification may be accepted with substantial site supervision experience.
• Experience supervising daily construction activities and coordinating with workers and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities and work fronts
• Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications and method statements
• Plan and coordinate daily activities with workers, subcontractors and relevant project personnel
• Monitor work progress and productivity against the approved program
• Monitor manpower, materials, plant and equipment requirements
• Conduct routine quality checks and coordinate inspections and testing
• Identify defective and non-conforming works and ensure timely rectification
• Ensure compliance with site safety, health and environmental requirements
• Maintain accurate daily site records and progress information
• Record site events, delays, disruptions, instructions and additional/varied works
