Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee and coordinate daily construction activities and supervise site personnel, ensuring operations meet safety regulations and project requirements.

You will liaise with main contractors, subcontractors, workers and suppliers to keep works on schedule, maintain site records, and support resolution of on-site technical issues, with travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 1–3 years of relevant experience in site supervision or construction-related roles.
• Strong understanding of construction practices, safety regulations, and quality control standards.
• Proven leadership abilities with strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a dynamic construction site environment.
• Willingness to travel or be stationed at project sites as required.
• Competent in reading and using dumpy level instruments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily construction activities and supervise site personnel.
• Ensure all site operations are carried out in compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project requirements.
• Liaise with main contractors, subcontractors, workers, and suppliers to ensure timely and efficient execution of site works.
• Track project progress and promptly report any delays, issues, or non-conformities to the Main Contractor.
• Perform regular site inspections and enforce the implementation of safety measures and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date site records, including daily progress reports and workforce attendance.
• Support the timely resolution of on-site technical issues, operational challenges, or conflicts.
• Promote effective communication and coordination between site teams and project management.
