Job summary

China Communications Construction Company (M) Sdn Bhd (Project Site Operations) – Kapar, Selangor is seeking a Civil Engineer to oversee daily site construction activities for a major national rail infrastructure project. You will work with the main contractor teams to deliver roads, bridges, and alignment structures on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 2 to 4 years of solid site experience in heavy civil infrastructure, with roads/bridges/earthworks or railway alignment experience.
• Strong understanding of site execution methodologies for heavy civil infrastructure projects.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex structural and civil alignment drawings.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Melayu; Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Willingness to be based at project site offices and possess own transport.

Responsibilities

• Site Execution & Supervision: oversee daily on-site construction activities including heavy civil works.
• Progress monitoring: track progress against schedule and coordinate with subcontractors.
• Issue resolution: identify site anomalies and coordinate corrective actions on-site.
• Stakeholder Coordination: interface with main contractor teams and participate in joint inspections.
• Technical Support & Documentation: review drawings and manage material tracking and QA/QC documentation.
