Job summary
China Communications Construction Company (M) Sdn Bhd (Project Site Operations) is seeking a Civil Engineer to oversee daily on-site activities for a major national rail infrastructure project in Kapar, Selangor. You will ensure road, bridge, and alignment works meet schedule, budget, and technical specs.
The role requires coordinating with the main contractor and consultants, interpreting drawings, managing materials, and maintaining site records.
Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of site experience in heavy civil infrastructure.
- Experience with roadworks, bridges, or major earthworks/railway alignment is required.
- Good English and Bahasa Melayu for site coordination and paperwork.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily on-site civil works including roads, bridges, foundations, and related structures.
- Monitor progress against master schedule and coordinate with sub-contractors.
- Identify site anomalies and coordinate corrective actions on-site.
- Interface with main contractor teams and participate in joint site inspections and handovers.
- Review drawings and ensure works follow latest Construction/Shop Drawings.
- Coordinate material tracking with Procurement and Site Admin.
