Job summary

China Communications Construction Company (M) Sdn Bhd (Project Site Operations) – Kapar, Selangor is seeking a Civil Engineer to oversee, execute, and monitor daily site construction activities for a major national rail infrastructure project. You will coordinate with the main contractor and consultants to ensure works are delivered on schedule, within budget, and per technical specs.

The role requires supervision of heavy civil works, QA/QC coordination, and close collaboration with procurement

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Proven ability to read, interpret, and apply civil/structural drawings and shop drawings.
• Familiarity with QA/QC processes and site safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily civil works on site including roads, bridges, foundations and associated infrastructure.
• Coordinate with main contractor teams; participate in joint site inspections and handovers.
• Review drawings for compliance with latest approved Construction/Shop Drawings and manage material tracking.
• Maintain daily site diaries, logs, and progress photos; support QAQC prior to RFIs.
