Job summary

Dassault Systèmes in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is seeking a Simulation Applications Engineer to articulate the value of SOLIDWORKS Simulation and strengthen customers' design validation processes. You will demonstrate impact during PoC projects and align with regional strategies.

The role requires 7–10 years in FEA/simulation with customer-facing consulting, hands-on SOLIDWORKS CAD, and experience with cloud and on-prem deployments.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of relevant experience combining FEA/simulation with customer-facing consulting or presales.
• Strong hands-on FEA skills: linear static, modal, thermal, nonlinear and dynamic analysis.
• Experience with SOLIDWORKS CAD is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Articulates and demonstrates the value of SOLIDWORKS Simulation to customers, strengthening design validation.
• Advocates how SOLIDWORKS Simulation can drive expansion opportunities in ASEAN/APAC South.
• Executes PoC projects, account reviews, and business impact assessments.
• Collaborates with VAR partners and the internal Dassault Systèmes ecosystem on deal strategy.
• Runs onboarding and webinars to engage customers and partners; shares FE A expertise through demos.

Role Description & Responsibilities

• Articulates and demonstrates the value of SOLIDWORKS Simulation to customers, showing how it strengthens their design validation process
• Advocates how SOLIDWORKS Simulation can be a game-changer for customers in the strongly growing ASEAN/AP South market
• Executes customer-centric activities such as account reviews, business impact assessments, and PoC projects, with a focus on uncovering expansion opportunities
• Collaborates closely with VAR partners and the Dassault Systèmes internal ecosystem to align on account and deal strategy
• Runs onboarding sessions, webinars, and enablement content to drive customer and VAR engagement with SOLIDWORKS Simulation
• Shares best-in-class FEA and SOLIDWORKS Simulation expertise with the partner and customer community through demos and hands-on sessions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil/Structural, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Industrial, or similar)
• 7 – 10 years of relevant experience, combining FEA/simulation engineering with customer-facing technical consulting or presales (must)
• Competent with CAD tools like SOLIDWORKS (preferred), with hands‑on FEA skills (linear static, modal, thermal, nonlinear, dynamic transient analysis) (must)
• Experience with cloud-based (SaaS), IaaS, and on-premise deployment models (nice to have)
