Utilising SolidWorks and AutoCAD to design and develop mechanical components and assemblies
Preparing detailed engineering drawings, models, and specifications for manufacturing
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including production and procurement, to ensure the successful implementation of designs
To develop and creating new products or systems based on specifications and requirements provided by customers.
To collaborate with other professionals (Project Manager, manufactures and quality assurance personnel) to ensure that the product is produced based on customer’s concept and requirements.
To develop BOM & costing for new products and update existing BOM on any changes of materials or unit prices.
To creates visual designs based on client requirements. Using software Adobe Illustrator & photoshop and solidwork.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field
Minimum 3 years of experience in design engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Proficient in the use of SolidWorks and AutoCAD for 3D modelling, 2D drafting, and design analysis
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to work effectively in a team
Familiarity with engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and design standards
Adaptability to changes in technology and a willingness to learn new skills
