Job summary

Jora Malaysia is offering an opportunity for fresh graduates to join our engineering team in Penang. The role focuses on 2D and 3D mechanical drawings, SolidWorks and AutoCAD, and support for jig, fixture and machine design projects.

You will learn hands-on fabrication processes, vendor coordination and site measurements, with mentoring from senior engineers. Travel to site may be required and own transport is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with 1–2 years of experience are welcome.
• Basic knowledge of: SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Engineering drawings, Mechanical assembly.
• Strong interest in: Jig & Fixture Design, Fabrication, Machine Design, Industrial Automation; travel for site measurements may be required and own transport is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing 2D and 3D mechanical drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Support the design of jigs, fixtures, fabrication projects and mechanical assemblies.
• Prepare fabrication drawings, BOM and engineering documentation.
• Assist with site measurements and engineering surveys.
• Coordinate with fabrication vendors regarding drawings and technical requirements.
• Support prototype assembly, testing and design improvements.
• Attend customer site visits with senior engineers when required.
• Assist in installation, commissioning and project implementation.
• Perform drawing revisions and engineering changes.
