Job summary

Pico Play Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a Show Production Coordinator to work closely with the Creative Director of Experiences and Entertainment, ensuring all project show elements are planned, executed and coordinated on time by all creative suppliers of our bespoke installations.

Qualifications

• Excellent presentation and communication skills extending beyond messaging platforms.
• Ability to speak with vendors from a range of countries and manage meetings with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all project show elements are planned, executed and coordinated with suppliers.
• Record and share AI notes and action items from meetings; track progress to completion.
• Coordinate vendor communications to prevent gaps and overlaps in scope.
• Work with Creative Directors, Administrators and Design Team across multiple projects.
• Research culture, environments and historical references to support scripting and attraction development.

Job description

Pico Play is a creator of themed environments and attractions for Theme Parks and Family Entertainment Centres across the globe. The Show Production Department is responsible for ensuring that all the theatrical elements of storytelling are included to achieve the desired guest experiences.

We are seeking Show Production Coordinator to work closely with the Creative Director of Experiences and Entertainment to ensure all project show elements are planned, executed and coordinated on time by all creative suppliers of our bespoke installations.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in both written and spoken English, oversee all meetings with suppliers, manage ai records of conversations and meetings, track vendors and follow up progress to ensure deadlines are met with successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Embracing Clear Understanding of all Projects: To know and understand what the ultimate creative objectives are within each project and the desired Guest Experience we are striving to achieve.

Ai Meeting Notation and Record of Conversations: Be present in all meetings with creative team and to diligently record and share ai notes and summaries of Items to be Actioned. Diligently track the progress of those items to completion.

Coordinating Vendor Communication: To understand where vendors scope of works needs to integrate with other vendors and to make sure that the necessary communications are taking place between vendors to ensure there are no assumptions or scope gaps.

Project Coordination: Work closely with Creative Directors, Administrator, Design Team and others to coordinate Show Production elements across multiple projects simultaneously.

Research: To research a range of items such as culture, environments, history, people, IP and a range of other subjects for Creative Director to use as foundation information for scripting and attraction development.

Requirements

Understanding of Theme Parks in general and appreciation of the kinds of attractions and environments we are creating

Highly organised and have excellent desk top capabilities and proficiency in Microsoft Office software; Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint.

Must be confident and have excellent presentation and communication skills that expand beyond WhatsApp messaging. Will be expected to speak to a range of vendors from a variety of countries.

Proficient in written and spoken English

Must be able to live and work within Malaysia
