Job summary

MLDC Berhad, a growing integrated property developer, invites applications for a heavy equipment operator role at sites across Klang Valley and Genting. You will operate shovel, wheel loader, and other machinery in accordance with safety procedures and project schedules.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of hands-on experience, valid CIDB/JKKP/ABM certification and a valid operator's licence, with a strong commitment to safety and teamwork on dynamic construction sites.

Qualifications

• Must have valid heavy equipment operator certification (CIDB/JKKP/ABM) and a valid operator's licence.
• 2–3 years of experience operating shovel, wheel loader, excavator, or similar equipment.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying site conditions.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate shovel, wheel loader, or other heavy equipment per procedures and safety rules.
• Load and stockpile earth, rocks and materials to support site operations.
• Perform pre-operation inspections and report defects.
• Follow site safety requirements and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with supervisors and drivers for safe material handling.

Responsibilities

Operate shovel, wheel loader, or other assigned heavy equipment in accordance with approved procedures, operational requirements, and safety regulations.

Load, move, and stockpile earth, rocks, debris, and other materials efficiently to support site operations and productivity targets.

Perform daily pre-operation inspections and report any defects, malfunctions, or maintenance requirements.

Adhere to all site safety requirements, traffic management plans, environmental regulations, and company procedures.

Work closely with supervisors, truck drivers, and other site personnel to ensure safe and efficient material handling activities.

Requirements

Valid heavy equipment or machinery operator certification (e.g., CIDB, JKKP, ABM) and a valid operator's licence (e.g., Class H or I) are mandatory.

Minimum 2–3 years of experience operating shovel, wheel loader, excavator, or similar heavy equipment.

Physically fit and capable of working in outdoor environments and varying site conditions.

Strong understanding of equipment operating procedures, loading practices, and workplace safety requirements.

Ability to work flexible hours, shifts, overtime, and in various weather conditions.
