Job summary

Nala Designs Sdn Bhd is seeking a Shopify-focused e-commerce specialist to own the online store, drive conversion and customer experience in Kuala Lumpur. You will manage product listings, pricing, promotions, landing pages and digital merchandising to grow online sales.

You will monitor metrics like conversion rate, traffic, AOV and cart abandonment, collaborate with Creative, Marketing and Retail teams, and optimize Shopify pages and campaigns with a hands-on, independent approach.

Qualifications

• Diploma and/or Degree in E-Commerce, Web Design, Digital Marketing, Digital Media, UI/UX, Graphic Design, Multimedia or a related field
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in e-commerce, digital commerce, web design or digital marketing
• Strong hands-on experience with Shopify, including theme customisation, page building and website management
• Strong understanding of e-commerce, online retail, conversion, customer journey and digital merchandising
• Strong web design and UX/UI skills, with a portfolio demonstrating relevant work
• Experience with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite or similar design tools
• Experience managing social media and digital content is an advantage
• Commercially driven, analytical, creative, technically capable and detail-oriented
• Able to troubleshoot problems, take ownership and work independently in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of Nala's Shopify e-commerce platform and focus on online sales, conversion and customer experience
• Manage product listings, collections, pricing, promotions, landing pages, banners and digital merchandising
• Drive website sales by monitoring conversion rate, traffic, AOV, cart abandonment and other e-commerce KPIs
• Identify opportunities to improve customer journey, website performance and online purchasing experience
• Build, customise and maintain Shopify pages, themes and features, including new pages or layouts
• Troubleshoot and resolve Shopify issues, coordinating with developers or external partners
• Support development and execution of digital campaigns, product launches and seasonal promotions
• Collaborate with Creative, Marketing and Retail teams to translate campaigns into online experiences
• Manage digital content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Threads and LinkedIn to support brand visibility and traffic
• Monitor digital performance, prepare reports and recommend improvements to grow online business
