Job summary

CNECC Engineering(Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd is seeking an experienced and certified Safety & Health Officer to join our construction team at the HPU, RAPID PETRONAS in Pengerang. The SHO will ensure DOSH compliance and maintain a safe working environment for all site personnel.

Must possess a valid DOSH Green Book (Registered SHO). Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required; Mandarin is an advantage. On-site full-time at Pengerang with strong knowledge of OSHA, FMA, and Malaysian safety

Qualifications

• Requires valid DOSH Green Book (Registered SHO).
• Minimum 5 years of construction or oil & gas project experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, FMA and Malaysian safety regulations.
• Familiar with HSSE standards for high-risk industrial construction.
• Ability to work independently in a multi-contractor environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly site safety inspections and prepare reports.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare investigation reports.
• Coordinate with site team, subcontractors and client representatives on HSSE matters.
• Maintain site safety documentation, permits-to-work, and statutory records.

Job description
