Job summary

Logikontrol Sdn Bhd, based in Selangor, seeks a Registered Safety and Health Officer to implement and monitor OSH policies at construction sites and ensure compliance with the OSH Act and DOSH/JKKP requirements. You will coordinate with clients and subcontractors on safety matters.

The role requires at least 3 years of construction safety experience and a valid Green Book, with strong knowledge of health and safety legislation to support risk management and safe work execution in Klang Valley.

Qualifications

• Registered SHO with DOSH/JKKP and a valid Green Book.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in construction and safety roles.
• Solid understanding of health & safety legislation, regulations and best practices.
• Willingness to work in Klang Valley.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor OSH policies at construction sites and ensure compliance with DOSH/JKKP requirements.

Job description

Implement and monitor the company's Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) policies and procedures at the construction site. Ensure compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act, regulations, DOSH/JKKP requirements and other applicable safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits and risk assessments
• Identify potential hazards and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive measures
• Monitor and ensure workers, subcontractors and site personnel comply with safety requirements
• Conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings, inductions and relevant safety training
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses and prepare the necessary reports
• Monitor the implementation of HIRARC, method statements and safe work procedures
• Maintain and update safety records, inspection reports, permits and other required documentation
• Liaise with DOSH/JKKP, consultants, clients, subcontractors and other relevant parties on safety and health matters
• Monitor the proper use of PPE and ensure site safety requirements are followed
• Participate in site meetings and provide updates on safety performance and outstanding safety issues

About you

• Registered Safety and Health Officer (SHO) with DOSH/JKKP and possess a valid Green Book
• At least 3 years' experience in construction industry and safety role
• Through understanding of relevant health & safety legislation, regulations and best practices
• Able to work in Klang Valley
