Job summary

Knauf Insulation Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Shift Team Leader for the Production Department. You will lead a crew, ensure safety and quality, and drive production targets in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a safe production department with your crew.
• Direct production employees to meet quality and output targets.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance when needed.
• Review production schedules and assign tasks to the right people.
• Maintain safe work habits and keep the shift area tidy and organized.

We are now looking for another team member to join us in Production Department as Shift Team Leader.

What you’ll be doing:

• Operate a safe department with your crew

• Produce high-quality products that meet Knauf specifications

• Meet production standards established for each given product

• Maintain excellent housekeeping on your shift

• Treat every employee with dignity and respect

• Ensure the safety of everyone on their crew during their shift, including communicating safe work habits daily and leading by example

• Communicate with the off-going shift before starting your shift and with the oncoming shift at the end of your shift

• Review production schedules and make sure that the proper people are assigned to the appropriate job tasks

• Direct the efforts of all production employees on your crew

• Monitor operating performance of equipment and contact maintenance for needed repairs or adjustments

What we’d love for you to have:

• Degree / Diploma in Engineering or any related field

• Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team

• Strong leadership skill

• Ability to manage stress strongly

If you have experience in the following areas – this is an added advantage:

• At least 5 years of working experience as Line Leader / Supervisor

• Preferably specialized in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent
