Job summary

Lam Research Corporation in Malaysia is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support pilot production, virtual manufacturing, and high-volume manufacturing. You will plan, develop, and maintain manufacturing methods, processes, and operations to tackle technical and production challenges.

Responsibilities include root-cause analysis, cost optimization, and process improvements across designs, materials, and equipment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering with 3+ years experience.
Ability to work in shift pattern.
Strong troubleshooting in electro/mechanical assemblies.
Experience with OMS, BOM management, and DFMA.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot new or existing product problems, involving designs, materials, or processes.
Perform root cause investigation and corrective action for operational problems.
Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes to reduce costs and improve product quality.
Provide MRB disposition for defective or failure parts.
Define processes for high-volume manufacturing including OMS, routing, and sequencing.
Review designs to improve manufacturability and assembly.
Design, develop, and implement equipment and methods of assembly for all production phases.
