Lam Research in Malaysia is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support pilot, virtual, and high-volume production environments. You will plan, develop, and maintain manufacturing methods, processes, and operations while addressing technical, quality, and production challenges.

The role emphasizes optimizing manufacturing costs and standards, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to a safe, efficient, and innovative manufacturing culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Strong troubleshooting in electro-mechanical assemblies or manufacturing environments.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, assembly operations, and problem-solving.
• Knowledge of 8D, RCCA, and root cause analysis.
• Ability to read engineering drawings with GD&T.
• Familiarity with 3D CAD modeling and CAD/PLM/PDM systems.
• Experience with Engineering Change Management.
• Knowledge of OMS, BOM management, and process planning.
• Analytical, hands-on problem solver.
• Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts (24x7).

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot product problems and drive STCA/LTCA.
• Root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Improve processes to reduce costs and cycle times.
• Dispo rejects for defective parts.
• Review designs to improve manufacturability and assembly.
• Share Best Known Methods with production teams.
