Job summary

Neuron Solutions Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a data centre operations lead to supervise the shift-based team and ensure high availability of critical infrastructure in a 24/7 environment. You will manage incidents, coordinate maintenance, and enforce safety and operational standards.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with 5+ years in data centres or similar environments and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data centre, critical facilities or similar mission-critical environments.
• Experience leading or supervising a shift-based operations team.
• Familiarity with data centre operational procedures, maintenance and safety standards.
• Strong incident management, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the data centre operations team during assigned shifts.

• Conduct shift handovers and ensure clear communication between teams.
• Support emergency response, escalation and business continuity activities.
• Mentor and guide engineers/technicians within the shift team.

Job description

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Data Centre, Facilities Management or related field.

5+ years of experience in data centre, critical facilities or similar mission-critical environments.

Experience leading or supervising a shift-based operations team.

Good understanding of data centre infrastructure including UPS, generators, cooling/HVAC, electrical distribution, fire protection and BMS/DCIM.

Strong incident management, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with data centre operational procedures, maintenance and safety standards.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Willing to work on a 24/7 rotating shift.
