Job summary

Neuron Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking a Lead Data Centre Operations professional in Kuala Lumpur. You will lead a shift-based team to ensure high availability of critical infrastructure and coordinate incident response.

You will oversee preventive maintenance, system changes, and safety compliance while mentoring engineers within the shift, driving seamless operations 24/7.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Data Centre, Facilities Management or related field.
• 5+ years in data centre or mission-critical environments.
• Experience leading or supervising a shift-based operations team.
• Strong knowledge of data centre infrastructure including UPS, generators, cooling/HVAC, electrical distribution, fire protection and BMS/DCIM.
• Excellent incident management, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with data centre operational procedures, maintenance and safety standards.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willing to work on a 24/7 rotating shift.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the data centre operations team during assigned shifts.

• Manage incidents, troubleshoot issues and coordinate timely resolution and escalation.
• Perform and oversee preventive maintenance, inspections and equipment checks.
• Coordinate planned maintenance, system changes and emergency activities with relevant teams and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, MOPs, EOPs, safety procedures and operational standards.
• Maintain accurate shift logs, incident reports and operational documentation.
• Conduct shift handovers and ensure clear communication between teams.
• Support emergency response, escalation and business continuity activities.
• Mentor and guide engineers/technicians within the shift team.
