Job summary

GIROBUMI TECHNOLOGIES SDN BHD is seeking a facilities operations professional to monitor and maintain data centre M&E systems, ensuring reliable daily operations across critical infrastructure.

The role coordinates preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoots equipment faults, oversees transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS, and fire protection, and enforces safety and permit-to-work procedures.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in facilities operations, preferably in data centres.
• Strong hands-on M&E system knowledge and preventive maintenance coordination.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin.
• Willingness to relocate to Johor Bahru or commute to JB Central.

Job description

Key responsibilities

Requirements

We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.

Candidates with relevant technical qualifications and substantial facilities operations experience may also be considered.

Minimum 3 years of experience in facilities operations, preferably in a data centre or other critical facilities environment.

Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in M&E system operations and preventive maintenance coordination.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese.

Experience in manufacturing plants, healthcare facilities, retail malls or telecommunications facilities is an advantage.

Previous experience working shifts is preferred.

Able to relocate permanently to Johor Bahru or commute daily to the JB Central area.
